eContrack will now allow System Administrators to individually tailor who can Add, View or Edit blocks of data (e.g. company data). This can be applied at either a Group Level or at an individual user level.

This will allow you much greater flexibility in defining who can do what. It can also be used to define "simpler" versions of the system for some users e.g. if a particular user only needs access to the "company" and "project" parts of eContrack then the rest of the system can be hidden from them.

Go to the Configuration page for System Administrators

Choose the Group or individual user and tick what you want them to be able to do.

Note that the explicit rights given to an individual override any Group restriction. You cannot however allocate rights that are not available to the Group in the first place e.g. a user in the group"Read Only" cannot be given edit rights to companies.
